TEALCA SMS Program: Consent, Opt-in and Terms

This page describes how TEALCA customers agree to receive text messages, what we send, and how to stop receiving them.

How you opt in

  1. You enter your mobile number in a TEALCA form: the contact form at tealca.us/en/contacto, the mailbox registration at tealca.us/en/casillero/registro, or the registration at casillero.tealca.us.
  2. In the same form you check the SMS consent box (it is never pre-checked) next to the text below. You can submit the form without checking it; in that case we send no text messages.
  3. When a verification code is needed, we send it to the number you provided. Shipment notices are sent only to numbers that gave consent.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Sample messages

  • TEALCA: Your verification code is 482915. It expires in 10 minutes. Do not share it. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • TEALCA: Your shipment 404682 was received at our Miami warehouse and is being prepared for Venezuela. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Text Messages (SMS)

Who sends the messages

TEALCA Shipping Store ("TEALCA") sends text messages to customers who provide their mobile number and agree to receive them.

What messages we send

One-time verification codes (for example, to confirm your phone number when you register an international mailbox) and service notices about the status of your shipments (for example: received at our warehouse, in transit, ready for pick-up). We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

Message frequency

Verification codes are sent only when you request one. Shipment notices are sent when the status of your shipment changes. Message frequency varies.

Costs

Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier plan. TEALCA does not charge for the messages.

How to opt out (STOP) and get help (HELP)

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages; we will confirm and send no more messages. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at [email protected] or +1 786 574-2843. You can opt in again at any time by registering again or replying START.

How we use and share your number

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are used only to deliver these messages. We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Our messaging provider processes the messages on our behalf only.

Carriers

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
