The estimated delivery time is 7 to 15 business days from the flight's departure date. Flights leave every Friday from Miami. This window may shorten or lengthen depending on the customs processes that apply to your shipment.
TEALCA operates weekly air departures every Friday from Miami. To ensure your package leaves on that week's flight, we recommend delivering your cargo before Thursday. Packages received after the cutoff are scheduled for the following Friday's flight.
Yes, purchase invoices are mandatory for air shipments to Venezuela. You must present them to declare your package's contents and comply with customs regulations. Without an invoice, the shipment may be held. You can check how to download your invoice in our guide.
For air shipments, the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight is charged. Volumetric weight is calculated as: length × width × height (cm) ÷ 5000. For example, a 50×40×30 cm box has a volumetric weight of 12 kg. If your package weighs less on the scale, the volumetric weight is charged. That's why it's important to include the dimensions when getting a quote.
Yes. If the declared value of your purchases exceeds $100 USD, you'll need to pay an additional surcharge based on the invoice value, for handling expenses at destination. Yes. If you're in Miami, you can bring your package directly to our office. If you're in another city, you have two options: use the international locker (a free Miami address for online purchases) or visit one of our authorized agents in FL, TX, NY, NJ, CA, GA and more states. Both options give you access to the weekly air service.
Air shipping is ideal for small packages and urgent shipments — delivery in 7–15 business days with weekly flights, but at a higher rate and with a weight limit. Ocean shipping is for large volumes, moves and appliances — more affordable and with no weight limit, but takes 4–6 weeks.
