Description
Taborda is a locality in the Puerto Cabello municipality, in the north of Carabobo state, set in the valley of the Aguas Calientes river a few kilometers east of the port city. Its location next to the highway and the old Valencia–Puerto Cabello road has made it a busy waypoint, to the point that its growth gradually merged it, in urban terms, with the neighboring town of El Palito. Close to the industrial and port zone of the central coast, Taborda combines its origin as a valley town with a role as a connection along one of the most important road corridors in northern Carabobo, through which much of the traffic between the coast and the center of the country flows.
