Pequiven
Pequiven, Carabobo, Venezuela
Description
Pequiven is the name by which the area of the large petrochemical complex located in Morón is known, in the Juan José Mora municipality, in the north of Carabobo state and a few kilometers from the port of Puerto Cabello. Its roots go back to 1955, when the then Venezuelan Institute of Petrochemicals built its first facilities there to produce fertilizers; in 1977 Petroquímica de Venezuela (Pequiven) was born, taking over and expanding those operations. Set on an extensive area near the central coast, the complex became one of the most relevant industrial hubs in the country, dedicated to producing nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers and other chemical products. That industrial vocation makes Pequiven a key connection point between national production, the port and the routes linking the center and west of Venezuela.
As an industrial and logistics enclave in northern Carabobo, the Pequiven area maintains a constant movement of people, supplies and goods with the rest of the country. Tealca offers different options to make secure shipments to Pequiven, both domestic and international, so that receiving a package is always fast and reliable. With years of experience and a solid logistics network, we accompany those who live and work around this important Carabobo hub in every parcel that arrives, connecting them with the rest of the country and the world.
