Master international shipping locker terms. Save money & avoid delays with TEALCA's expert 6-step guide for smooth US-Venezuela logistics.

We want your shipping experience to be smooth, fast, and successful. With over 38 years of experience in cross-border logistics, we have refined our workflow into a highly predictable step-by-step pipeline.

To prevent import delays and save money on your shipping freight, learn the 6 essential stages every package goes through at our Miami facility before landing in Venezuela.

The 6 Stages of Your Cargo Lifecycle

The entire journey of your e-commerce freight is structured around these 6 core logistics steps. Misordering or skipping your responsibilities during these phases will result in sorting hold-ups.

1.Reception: Warehouse Intake (1 - 24 Hours).

The moment a domestic shipping carrier (like UPS, FedEx, or DHL) drops your boxes off at our Miami warehouse loading dock, our intake team scans the shipping barcode. This actions generates a digital receipt in your portal, capturing the dead weight and carrier tracking info.

Critical Rule: Your shipping label must include your full name and unique Locker Code (e.g., John Doe - TE-12345). Missing account IDs will route your items to Unknown Cargo, causing severe processing delays.

2.Travel Instructions: Customer Shipping Authorization.

Once you see your items successfully checked into your digital locker queue, you must explicitly tell our team how to route them. Send an email to customerservice@tealca.us including your locker code, beneficiary delivery details in Venezuela, purchase invoices (mandatory for custom files), and your chosen lane: Air Cargo or Ocean Freight.

3.Repacking: Optional Consolidation (Up to 24 Hours).

If you purchase multiple separate orders from different online stores (like Amazon, SHEIN, and eBay), you can request our consolidation service. Our handlers will merge your separate packages into a single, compact shipping box to remove dead volume space and optimize your freight cost minimums.

4.Billing & Payment: Freight Clearance at Origin.

After sorting and measuring your cargo via your chosen transit mode, we emit your official digital invoice. This file displays the base freight rates, dynamic fuel surcharges, and optional cargo insurance. All invoices must be fully paid at origin (Miami) before the cargo is allowed to board a vessel.

5.Shipment Assignment: Securing Your Weekly Vessel Space.

The second your payment is confirmed by our accounting desk, your package moves into physical staging. Your box is safely loaded onto a dedicated air cargo pallet or secured within a heavy ocean container, locking in your space for the current week's scheduled route.

6.Destination Delivery: International Departure to Venezuela.

This is the final checkpoint handled by our Miami operations team. Your assigned shipping containers and pallets are systematically loaded onto the departing vessel or cargo plane, officially kicking off your cargo's transit directly to our domestic distribution networks in Venezuela.

Weekly Shipping Deadlines and Cutoff Times

Our international transport wings leave Miami every single Friday. To guarantee your freight boards the current week's departure, your payment must clear before our strict operational cutoff metrics:

Ocean Freight Cutoff Window

Wednesdays at 12:00 PM (Noon) EST

All travel instructions, repacking requests, and invoice payments for Ocean Freight must be finalized. Containers are locked down past this time window to begin heavy physical stacking and maritime compliance filing.

Air Cargo Cutoff Window

Thursdays at 6:00 PM EST

The final deadline for Air Cargo processing. Pallets are weighed, wrapped in high-strength protective film, and transported to the airport cargo terminal for airline security staging.

Official Departure Day

Every Friday (Weekly Scheduled Routes)

Vessels and aircraft depart Miami, initiating international transit. Air cargo arrives and processes through local Venezuelan customs in 7 to 15 business days, while ocean shipments arrive at destination ports in 4 to 6 weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Package Tracking & Intake Queries

What is "Unknown Cargo"?

This is the designated hold area for any package arriving at our warehouse with an incomplete shipping label (e.g., missing your locker code or featuring a name not registered in our database). If your store carrier says "Delivered" but your locker is empty, email us your tracking number so we can manually extract it from our unknown package inventory.

Why does my USPS link say "Delivered" but my locker is empty?

The United States Postal Service (USPS) utilizes bulk scanning mechanisms. They mark entire regional batches as "Delivered" when the truck reaches the local Miami post office branch, not our warehouse door. The physical drop-off at our facility can take an extra 1 to 3 weeks after that initial status update appears.

Consolidation & Payments

Do I need to request repacking if I only have 1 item?

No. Single-box retail orders bypass the repacking queue entirely and are automatically billed under their original tracking dimensions to speed up transit.

Can I add late-arriving packages to an active repacking request?

No. Once a shipping invoice has been generated, that specific cargo file is legally locked. Any new tracking numbers arriving later must be billed on a separate receipt and will be scheduled for the following week's departure.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can securely clear your digital freight invoice via Zelle, PayPal, or an international Credit/Debit Card using our secure payment portal link.

Note: Due to international trade frameworks, we do not accept local Venezuelan Bolívares (VES) or Cash on Delivery (COD) options in Venezuela.
